The Toulouse Swing Festival is on November 18 to 20 with Ryan Francois and Jenny Thomas, Hasse Mattson and Marie Nahnfeldt and Philo and Marie Kahn. Snowball 2005 is a New Year swing dance event in Stockholm, Sweden with a who's who of international teachers including Ryan and Jenny, Paul Overton and Sharon Ashe, Sylvia Sykes and Nick Williams, Kenneth and Helena Norbelie, Sakarias and Frida, and Bernard and Anne-Helene Casava. The 2nd Shag & Balboa Festival in Paris from January 12 to 15 with four days of classes and three social dances with live music. The teachers include Nick Williams and Sylvia Sykes, Joel and Alison Plys, Dan and Christi Guest, and Lily and Adam Valius. Get full details at

The Montpelier Swing Festival is on February 2 to 5 in Place do la Comedie in Montpelier France. You will be dancing in the street, jazz concerts, dance parties, demonstrations and a Lindy Hop Jack and Jill competition. Full details at

The First Eastbourne Jive Weekend features The Jive Aces, The Bus Stop Boys, Ocean's Seven and a host of DJs at York House Hotel 14-22 Royal Parade, Eastbourne BN22 7AP from Friday 3 to Monday 6 February 2006. Goodnight Sweetheart 06 starts on February 10 for three days and nights at Hertford University, with 40 hours of classes and the third World DJ Championships. Back To The 50s is the ultimate dance ball on Friday 24 February with four bands and four DJs. It's happening in The German Theater in Schwanthalerstrasse 13 Munich. More details at Doors open at 7pm and stay open until 3am. Prices start at 15 euros and go on sale in September 2005.


La Santa Swing News: Kevin and Carla will be teaching again, as will Bill Borgida, Gary and Sarah Boon, Katja from Amsterdam and Andy and Rena. Ronnie Scott's Rejects will play in the evenings.
